Have you ever noticed that the progress bar rolls back when you rush things up? Everything has some time to go, sometimes all you need to do is wait to get progress. I will tell you what happened with our CNC machine so far and how this thought popped out.
We got the CNC machine 3 weeks ago, and it came with an aluminum-cut blade on it, which is not perfect for wood processing. But we couldn’t wait for a new blade and we decided to just go for it. The blade got broken in the middle of the job and the job was canceled. We ordered a new blade, it took a week to come, finally, it came, and I myself (not a CNC master for sure) wanted to try it again, I couldn’t wait for my mechanical teammate to come to the office (next week), and tada! I broke the blade again, and even worse there is an issue popped up in the machine. So we have to wait for a serviceman to come and fix the machine. It will probably take another week. When I step back and look at what we are doing, I can see we could have done it 3 weeks ago perfectly if we could wait for the right blade at the office.
I am sure you had also similar moments in your life. I keep my faith that there is a good thing in every bad thing hence, I am not regretful, but we need to learn from mistakes and rinse our methods. We always have to seek a balance between flexibility and rushing things.
By the way, if you have already ordered an air quality monitor, don’t worry. We prospected these issues and spared an extra month for production.
Updates from Mountain Labs ⛺️
✨ We attended an event called IoT Turkiye last month. It was a calm and fruitful event that was held in Istanbul. I am sharing some moments from the event below.
🔥 Mountain Labs LLC is officially registered in the US. We took this move for Kickstarter mainly hopefully it will benefit while distributing our product over North America.
⚒️ We continue tests on the device in different locations and weather conditions like open air in a polluted area, metro, car, etc. Meanwhile, we try to optimize the device’s battery performance with a single charge.
If you like the progress we’ve made so far, you can pre-order right now with a %30 discount in the basket ending by December. To order → mountainlabs.io.
Lastly, I opened a Blue Sky account, let’s connect over there if you have one. This is my profile: omertaban.bsky.social
That’s all so far. Subscribe to our newsletter to witness our journey if you haven't. Thanks for all the support. Greetings from snowy hills! ☃️ 🙋🏻♂️
