Throughout my career, I've learned six valuable lessons that have shaped my approach to work and life:
Don’t seek for motivation. Don’t rely on motivation to carry you. Instead, focus on the quality of your work because your work will be remembered by your name.
Establish work routines. Be loyal to them. Develop work routines and stick to them. They’ll provide structure and a sense of purpose, especially on days when motivation is low.
Respect deadlines. Meeting deadlines reflects your reliability and respect for others' time.
Don’t over-push when things are stable. Pushing too hard when everything is stable can lead to burnout. Learn to recognize and appreciate periods of equilibrium.
Don’t quit when things get tough. When times get tough, don't give up. Tough situations build resilience and bring growth.
Don’t point your teammate when things go wrong. When things go wrong, resist the urge to blame others. Instead, focus on solutions and learn from mistakes.
These principles are what I share with my teammates, as I believe they foster discipline and create a positive work environment. By embracing these values, we hope to build a resilient team and cultivate a sustainable business.
Updates from Mountain Labs
We’ve officially kicked off pilot production for 30 units of the Odak Air Quality Monitor! This initial batch will help us identify any potential risks and challenges before scaling up. If everything goes smoothly, we’ll be sending samples to some of our potential clients from this production run.
In the meantime, we’re setting up merchant accounts on popular e-commerce platforms in Turkiye. If you operate an e-commerce marketplace, now is a great time to reach out and explore potential collaborations.
