You may have seen this guy at the Olympics. His name is Yusuf Dikeç. He won the silver medal in the Shooter category at the Paris Olympics. More than the medal, his attitude with no equipment became viral.
He became the “meme” for everything efficient throughout the industries. I guess the reason why he became this popular was that all the unspoiled kids around the world found themselves in his attitude. A great pride for him.
Although such tweets stroke our ego as Turkish people I must admit that we have some characteristics that reduce our potential collectively.
Yes, we’re good at doing much with less but we’re good at complaining about stuff relentlessly, focusing on the negative side, and underestimating the value of enthusiasm too. When you get an idea and share it with a friend, he will be the first to find an issue. Sharing and spreading good news in such a society is difficult because joy polices are everywhere. I guess friends from the Balkans will root for this :)
Ibn Sina(Avicenna) theorized that constant complaining could physically affect the body, slowing the bloodstream and causing it to become 'colder.' This, in turn, might reflect in one's attitude, leading to a 'cold' demeanor. Over time, this coldness could hinder social integration and make a person less likable.
As a cumulative result of this on society, Ibn Sina projects that constant complaining can diminish the blessings we receive. Good take!
Disclaimer: I understand it’s tough to live in an economy with a %80 inflation rate and surrounded by wars.
Updates from Mountain Labs 🏔
We have upgraded the podcast setup and published a new episode. 🥳
In the latest episode, we talked about energy optimizations and AI's role in reducing CO2 footprint with the Founder of Raven1-0, Çağlar Çakır. If you’re into the Energy industry, I highly recommend watching it. It’s Turkish but auto-captions for different languages will help. I hope :)
We have got new equipment in the office to speed up the prototyping and sample production process. Looking for a 3in1 solution as a 3D printer, CNC machine, and laser. If you have a suggestion, please let me know in the comments. Meanwhile, we continue building business relations, reaching more e-commerce platforms and retail stores.
Let’s see how things evolve.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading. Bye 🙋🏻♂️
Huge fan of ibn Sinas work and Turkish contribution to science and culture!
